Forward thinking for professional tattooists

Designed and made in the UK, PROTECH has continuously evolved over the years to perfect tattoo machinery at its finest, by battling the tedious innate characteristics of ‘weight’ that is apparent throughout tattoo machines of today! Producing Newly developed Carbon fibre tattoo machines, half the weight but triple the strength!

As a brand our key ethos was to minimize and eliminate issues that tattooists tackled on a day to day basis, making way for PROTECH TATTOO SUPPLIES place in the tattoo industry.

      Features

All our machine frames feature these attractive benefits making PROTECH tattoo machines the “FIRST OF ITS KIND”. Designed by both tattooists and craftsman, we have worked on irradiating the initial issues that tattooists tackle with tattoo machines of today.

      Distinct lightness

Using aluminium components aid in the distinct lightness of our machines as well as using the finest carbon fibre material. By irradiating this weight problem has ultimately resulted in the weight being evenly distributed when using disposable grips relieving any strain on the wrist.

      Reduced Thermal expansion

When certain materials are heated, their size and volume increase slightly depending on the nature of the material, this is known as thermal expansion. Materials such as steel have a high thermal expansion whereas ceramics, graphite and plastic have a low coefficients thermal expansion.

      High Temperature Tolerance

Producing a carbon fibre material requires a great deal of skill as the carbon atoms need to fuse into a crystal form. This is then bonded together and aligned along thousands of fibres creating a woven effect. These fibres are then joined together using plastic resin or graphite and is then baked. The use of plastic resin or graphite means the material can withstand an extremely high heat, aiding the bonding process.

      Fatigue Resistant

carbon fibre is designed to prevent fatigue making it the perfect material to use in industries with a high impact count. Using this skilful technique is extremely popular within fields such as civil engineering, aerospace structures, auto mobiles and even military technology. These transferable characteristics are now becoming popular within products such as watches, phones and now enabling production of a brand-new and exclusive tattoo machine.

      Chemical Corrosion Resistant

However, you choose to clean your machine this will not affect the frame. Carbon fibre is corrosive resistant which means it will not rust, melt or flake away.

      Tensile Strength

Protech machines it's less than half the weight of your conventional tattoo machine but is 8 times stronger due to the nature of the material used in the bonding process.

      Why Pro-Tech?

PROTECH tattoo machines are a high-end product. Yes! they are half the weight and 8 times the strength however, this WILL NOT effect how well it functions mechanically.

      Coil vs Rotary vs
      Pro-Tech

The coil machine is often preferred to the rotary due to its ability to create intricate line work with ease. However the coil machine does require a great deal of skill which tattooists actually tend to prefer. There isn’t a great deal of difference between the rotary and coil other than the noise produced and is simply the tattooists required choice.

Coil machines tend to weigh more than a rotary due to the two coils and iron rods therefore rotary machines are significantly lighter as it operates on a motor. However, here at PROTECH not only have we created a coil machine that is lighter than any standard coil machine, but is also LIGHTER THAN A ROTARY!
